Tiny Horizons Day Nursery was founded by myself, Leanne, in 2006.
With a childcare and teaching background, it was my dream to have my own nursery. A nursery that I could mould and build the way I wanted it to be.
A home from home for young children with, fresh healthy meals, large outdoor play areas, animals and enough love to build a castle!
My dream came true in 2006 when our journey really began.
With all the planning and paperwork side of things now taken care of, it was time for the fun stuff.
We bought the property on park view and within a couple of months it was up and running. The beginning of something special.
Having already secured OFSTED backing, the next few months were spent creating a fun environment, my own children lending a hand with ideas and inspiration.
So, eight months pregnant, a 4 year old and 18 month old, the doors were ready to open for the first time.
Well, what can I say, they did, it was amazing and 5 days later little molly was born. ( 6 days later she was in full time nursery haha)
10 years and 2 more children later, Our Tiny Horizons family continues to grow in both numbers and love.
We now average around 30 children per day. Enough to have a great time, build friendships and learn, but not too many to know each and every child personally and celebrate their little characters as the unique little individuals that they are.
TINY HORIZONS stands for educational specialists, wholehearted commitment and comprehensive child care.
Increasing demands are being made on child care facilities, since all parents want the very best for their children, right from their very first learning experiences. In addition, there is now a marked trend towards intellectual education for children, but still children also need to play, move, get enough exercise and discover their own bodies.
Our nursery school achieves both objectives by offering space for moving around, plenty of opportunity for play, a small library and various facilities for creative activity.
Our aim is to support each child through his or her own development.
